We will provide all of the necessary cabling from power to computer adaptors to connect direct to our plasma's.
You also have the option of having the same image duplicated on each screen using our video splitters and we can provide laptop shelves per screen with any Unicol stand request.
PA1 & PA2 Audio Systems can be added to any screen to enhance the audio of your presentation, please see listings under Audio hire for full details.
All of our screens have the capability of being stand mounted, we use industry standard 6ft eye level plasma stands made by Unicol.

All PC laptops have a standard VGA video output or HDMI output to display the visuals mirrored from the laptops screen to our Plasma/LED Screens for example to stream power point presentations and video content.

We always provide the cabling required from your source to connect to our screens on each install.
If a MacBook is being used as the source for visuals; please advise make and model as there are around 12 different types of display adaptors across the Mac range.
The Mac series computers don’t have VGA or HDMI video outputs built-in and a Mac Video display adaptor is required to output visuals to other connected hardware; again we will supply these adaptors on request.
On all occasions using a laptop for visual output connected to our screens; your power supply is required to sustain the battery life during a presentation, our technicians will change the laptops settings to ensure a consistent playback without the computer going asleep.
If audio is required alongside your visual presentation our technicians will connect using an audio lead from your laptop to our Plasma / Led Screens.
If your presentation is to a larger audience and you would like to use an external audio source please advise how many guests expected as we can supply small to large PA systems enhancing the audio output from laptops.
We have the ability to connect multiple Plasma / Led Screens from one visual source using distribution Amplifiers & Cabling to install screens up too 100 Meters apart. These are great for larger event areas displaying your content to all your audience at the same time.
Not all events are the same and some require an early morning delivery / setup due to the nature of the exhibition, we offer this as part of our service and guarantee our arrival ready for your day ahead.
We operate no time restrictions in regards to collecting our equipment after an event finishes. Most occasions for hire are taking place at hired event locations and the need to remove the equipment same evening / late night is a standard service we offer.
In some event situations it’s possible for us to deliver and setup the hired equipment ready for the following day’s event, please contact us for more information. Certain T&C’s apply to this service.
Our hire prices only apply for the days of equipment used; No equipment hire charge if this is required.
Sound In The City can cater for one screen events and up to 50 plasma/LED screen events for larger exhibition needs due to our own massive stock holding. We work alongside exhibition individuals or event organisers needing a complete solution for their exhibitors.
All our Plasma/LED Screens have the ability of being mounted on our 6ft Tall Unicol presentation stands, for a compact setup using either laptops or dvd players we can install a shelf onto the stand. Each screen can also be installed on to their own tabletop stand if desired.
All our DVD Players are full HD compatible; again we provide all the necessary connections on install, demonstrate and even show you how to loop your visuals.
